Nora and the others were chatting excitedly. Yet, Angele remained expressionless and commanded calmly, "Get out of my way."

She was eager to head to the pantry for a cup of coffee. She had no time for these foolish people.

"Angela, what are you proud of? Your reputation is ruined after you got caught seducing a younger man. Why not take a moment to look in the mirror?" Nora followed and stood in front of her. She smirked with her arms crossed as she humiliated Angela.

Angela felt powerless. After filling up the water, she asked, "What's the point of saying this?"

It might seem like a simple question, but beneath the surface lay a deep-seated contempt. She dismissed Nora entirely, rendering any thoughts or actions of hers irrelevant. Those humiliating comments were unworthy of any response.

"Bitch! You're shameless to begin with, and now everyone in the company knows."

"Nora, do you remember where you are? This is Graham Group. I'm Angela Graham, and Bill is my father. Do you think he would fire you if I asked him to?" Angela inquired indifferently with a touch of sarcasm.

If Nora was fired, her reputation would suffer greatly, and no company would want to hire her.

Nora stared at her and chuckled.

"Angela, are you out of your mind? How could you possibly have him fire me? I'm currently leading the entire design department, and Mr. Graham still depends on me to bring in clients. How could he..."

Midway through the conversation, Nora abruptly recalled something important. She grabbed Angela's hand and headed swiftly toward Bill's office.

Knocking on the door, Nora called out, "Mr. Graham, it's me, Nora."

Bill felt a twinge of impatience, but he managed to keep his anger in check and allowed her to enter. To his surprise, she entered with Angela.

Noticing their different expressions, Bill was displeased. He asked sternly, "What's going on?"

Nora exclaimed furiously, "Mr. Graham, if I've done something wrong, please tell me directly. I'll resign myself, but you don't need to have Angela inform me that I've been fired."

Bill immediately grasped the situation. To his annoyance, it was just another argument.
