"Why didn't I notice you worked so hard before?" Dexter joked, enjoying a delicious dessert in the hospital.

While he remained relaxed, Angela was overwhelmed by anxiety. With just five days until the deadline, they had only managed to complete 60% of the production.

"I never really had the opportunity to be busy before," Angela replied casually, setting her phone aside. She then rubbed her face hard, trying to dispel the fatigue that lingered.

She felt unusually irritable and uneasy today, as though something was about to happen. Ultimately, she attributed it to the uncomfortable hospital bed.

Outside the window, a gentle night breeze blew, making the curtains dance around. Angela awoke to her racing thoughts and sat up in bed. Just then, her phone rang.

It was Clara calling. "Ms. Graham, our factory is on fire."

The simple sentence shocked Angela, leaving her numb. "What's going on?"

As soon as she posed the question, she tossed aside the quilt and instantly got out of bed. Slipping on her shoes, she hurried out without uttering a single word. She headed straight to the suburban factory.

Upon arrival, she found the factory engulfed in flames, filled with a terrible smell and cries for help. The chaos was palpable.

In that pivotal moment, someone recklessly shouted, "Run!" It threw the rescue efforts into disarray.

The factory was modest in size. Yet, there was a warehouse next to it. It was filled with an array of leather bags that had been produced but remained unsent, alongside an abundance of flammable paper boxes.

When Angela arrived, it was so chaotic that no one noticed her presence. Observing the unfolding situation, a single thought dominated her mind—she had to save them and make sure there were no casualties.

Upon finding out that there were no fatalities and only three workers had suffered burns, she couldn't help but feel that this was a fortunate outcome amidst the circumstances.

The fire raged for nearly two hours before being extinguished. Fortunately, the factory's equipment sustained minimal damage, resulting in only negligible losses. However, the stocks stored in the adjacent warehouses were completely destroyed.

Angela quickly contacted Joanne to ensure the well-being of the three injured staff and subsequently verified the fire's cause with the firefighters.

When she found that the fire had been caused by electrical appliances in the warehouse and the manager's unlawful use of the machinery, she was extremely disheartened.
