Chapter 323 novel Love and Devotion No Longer His to Claim (Angela and Dexter)

Clara stormed into the operations and logistics department angrily. It was prime working hours, and many employees were arriving for their shifts. The sight of her fuming left everyone bewildered.

Marco was among those promoted by Angela during that period. She placed her trust in him due to his honesty, practicality, and strong work ethic.

He arrived at the office five minutes early as usual but found Clara, Angela's assistant, looking unhappy. Marco felt confused and impatient.

Recently, unsettling rumors had emerged claiming that a staff member within the operations and logistics department had been covertly photographing female employees of the company.

Marco had arrived today with the intention of conducting a thorough investigation. He suspected that Clara might also be here to address the troubling issue.

"Ms. Winslow, I was just about to assemble the team to look into that issue." He walked in with a smile.

"I already know who it is. Perhaps there could be others involved, but you need to confront him first." Clara's expression was icy, her eyes ablaze with fury.

"Who is it?" Marco paused, surprise evident on his square face as he removed his jacket.

Clara sneered. "Damian Eaton! Mr. Cabot, I urge you to handle this matter right away. I caught him red-handed, yet he still stubbornly denied it. It's utterly infuriating."

"What?" Marco became tense.

Damian was, in fact, his own uncle. He had put in a lot of effort to secure him a job.

In the past, Damian hadn't exactly been a decent man. During his youth, he had resorted to theft and ended up in prison, earning himself a criminal record. When he had gotten older, he'd had nowhere to live.

She turned around, locked her gaze on him, and declared, "Since you demand proof, I'll retrieve it immediately. I intended to show you some courtesy, but it appears my kindness was misplaced."

"Hold on! Let's talk, Ms. Winslow." Marco was taken aback. He never thought that there would be evidence.

At that moment, Clara had already dashed outside. Marco swiftly pursued her, flashing a charming smile as he tried to bring her back.

Clara smirked. "There's a surveillance camera installed in the corridor outside the bathroom door that captures the area around the sink. He claims he wasn't there. Let's check the footage."

Meanwhile, Damian sat silently in the corner, his head bowed and a look of distress etched on his face.
