Angela smiled faintly. "What are you doing this for? You're Dexter's uncle. As long as he's around, you'll never face any difficulties.

"Wouldn't it be better to just enjoy a carefree life of luxury? Why insist on making a mess of the company and ruining whatever goodwill others still have for you?"

Felix suddenly froze as a sudden realization struck him. "Are you saying... this was all that brat Dexter's idea?"

Angela spread her hands casually. "I never said that. Don't make things up."

Felix glared at her and turned to leave. He directly went to find Dexter. He even went straight to Bamford Manor to inform Natalie and Joseph about Angela's actions and complain about her.

Before the workday ended, Angela received a call from Natalie asking her to return. She was reluctant to go back, knowing she would likely be scolded. Yet, now that the issue was exposed, backing down without a fight was simply not her way.

Upon arriving at Bamford Manor, she noticed that everyone, including Miles and his family, was unusually present. Even Mateo, who was rarely seen, sat quietly on the couch. His sister, Cecilia, was also unexpectedly silent, as if anticipating something.

"Angela, what exactly happened? How did things escalate to the point that Felix came straight to our home? Mom and Dad are too old to handle this kind of drama. Aren't you worried that it will affect them?" Ursula asked.

She'd been traveling abroad with Cecilia for some time and had only just returned. Yet, the moment she'd gotten back, she'd run straight into all this chaos. Naturally, she had to come and see for herself.

Angela ignored Ursula. Instead, she spoke directly to Joseph. "Grandpa, this is my fault. I didn't handle it properly, but please don't worry."

There was no need to explain to Fiona and Dexter, as they would understand. As for everyone else, she simply didn't care.

Angela interrupted, "It has nothing to do with him. It's your own shameful behavior, making one mistake after another. If you're brave enough to say it out loud, let everyone hear and be the judge. I'll even respect you for being a real man!"

Felix was furious, and he was momentarily speechless.

"Angela, he's your uncle. You should show some respect to him. How can you be so aggressive? If word gets out, it won't be good for the Bamford family's reputation, will it?" Ursula's obvious favoritism was truly exasperating.
