I don't miss you, I miss the time that we spent together.

Molly stared at him in disbelief. But then she realized he was serious. "Brian, are you crazy?"

"Crazy?" Brian said in a low voice. He glowered and continued bitterly, "Maybe, I am. Yes, I am crazy. I'm crazy in love with you." He was almost mumbling with his voice so low. Molly didn't even hear him in her anger. The next thing she heard was, "Isn't that what you were thinking?"

Once again, Brian could see right through her. Molly's face was white as a sheet. "Mol, if I really wanted to hurt you, do you think I'd care where I'd do it? Even if I hurt you in broad daylight out there in the streets, no one would dare to stop me!"

His words were like daggers that made Molly's heart pound in fear. She bit her lip, embarrassed and angry.

Brian looked away when he saw the expression on Molly's face. He started the car again and drove off. The air in the car was so thick you could cut through it with a knife. Molly found it difficult to breathe so she kept shifting in her seat. Until finally, the car pulled over in front of what looked like a very private place.

Brian, meanwhile, had already stepped out of the car. Molly paused for a few seconds before she followed suit, limping her way towards Brian. When she saw the logo of the Dragon Empire Group, she realized they must be at the private hospital of the Empire.

"Mr. Brian Long." A nurse greeted, bowing to Brian.

Brian threw a cold glance in Molly's direction and said to the nurse, "Check her arm and foot. See if anything is broken."

The nurse smiled and nodded despite Brian's temper. She looked at Molly and gestured to another nurse to bring her a wheelchair.

Molly didn't care about her injuries. She begged Brian but he didn't even budge. He gave the nurses several other orders and then left the hospital without another word.

"Brian..." As she watched his stiff back, she seemed to forget how to speak. She withdrew her gaze and bit her lip - her heart aching. The second nurse came along with the wheelchair. While she was being pushed in the wheelchair, Molly kept her gaze at Brian until she was in the elevator and Brian was off in the corner.

She was trying to make sense of his emotions. But whenever she tried to think back to their past, only one sentence stood out from everything else: "Then do it." That was what Brian had told the doctors when they were asking if Molly's retinas could be transferred to Becky.

Tears started to form in her eyes just an inch away from falling down. She lowered her head to hide her tears.

"Hello, Miss Xia?"

a voice suddenly said. Molly looked up, confused. She saw a man with green eyes. When she finally recognized him, her face turned pale.

"What's the matter? Are you sick?" Elias stepped forward and asked. "You don't look very well."

"What...what are you doing here?" Molly asked Elias nervously. "Shouldn't you be at..." she trailed off.

"I just got off the plane," Elias responded cutting Molly off. The last time she had seen him, she hadn't talked to him much because she had had too much on her mind back then. And now that she was willing to talk, he wouldn't shut up. "Mr. Brian tells us that there's a boy who can't speak. I know he flew Carina out of the city to look at the boy. And while, Carina is a famous hypnotist, I heard that she still couldn't do anything for that poor boy. Cases like this excite me,"

Elias said, enthused completely oblivious to the shifting expressions on Molly's face. She was still recovering from her shock because if what Elias was saying was true then had Brian just taken Mark so he could help him speak?

"Have you seen the boy?" Molly asked, randomly.

Elias shrugged. "No, I haven't. I just got here. Tony was supposed to take me to see the boy but something came up so he dropped me here first and I got off the wrong floor so, yes, I was going to see the boy but then I ran into you."

He shrugged again, grimacing.

"I'm coming with you," Molly said, struggling to get out of the wheelchair.

"Miss, you're injured..."

"I don't care!" Molly shouted. "I'm coming with you!" she said to Elias, her voice raised.

Elias frowned and asked, "Is that boy..." He was starting to get suspicious because of how Molly was behaving.

"I just want to know." Molly denied. She grabbed Elias as they walked away together.

Suddenly, someone was knocking on the door loudly. Brian withdrew his gaze from Mark and transferred it to the direction of the door. "Come in," he uttered. The door was pushed open and Elias walked in, followed by Molly. Both Brian and Mark turned to see who had just come in.

Mark's eyes lit up as soon as he saw his mother. He started to run towards her. Molly limped towards Mark and enveloped him with her arms.

Mark was smiling as he kept rubbing his head on Molly's neck, his dimples deeper and sweeter than ever.

Brian could see Mark's and Molly's faces clearly from where he was sitting. As he watched this family's happy reunion, he suddenly found himself jealous of Spark. If Richie hadn't revoked his rights at the agency four years ago, if he had fought Richie over it, would he have found Mol back then?

His heart ached at the thought. If there had been something or a child like Mark connecting him and Mol four years ago, would she have chosen to stay by his side? Would there have been a bigger chance for her to love him?

The air in the room was odd. Elias watched as Molly and the boy held each other, and then Brian - he was attempting to figure out what was going on. But Brian never withdrew his gaze from Molly and Mark - he had ignored everything else including Elias. Until Molly spoke and Elias finally understood everything.

"I'm sorry, baby, mommy has come so late."

"It's okay, mommy. He told me that you would come today to pick me up," Mark replied in sign language.

Maybe, it was because Molly was there but Mark seemed to be less tense even if Brian was there.

It wasn't until then that Molly realized that someone was staring at her so intently. "Well... I..."

"Is this your son?" Elias asked in astonishment. "No wonder Mr. Brian Long asked me whether the drug those men made you take four years ago would affect the baby." He trailed off and then let out a deep breath, his eyes more enthused now. "Great! Now I have both the mother and the boy. This will make my job easier. I can work on the boy's condition better now. I'm going to schedule exams and check-ups on you two. So I can find out where his disability came from, if it was from the drug or you or..."

Molly wasn't thrilled at all instead she was scared. Her lips shivered as she struggled to find the right words to say and as she tried to contain her fluster.

Brian caught the expression on Molly's face. He frowned and glanced at Mark. "What's wrong? You don't want to do the examination together with Mark?" he asked Molly slowly.
