Julian could tell Saoirse didn't believe him. He quickly clarified, "Actually, I'm reclusive because my parents have been so focused on their careers that they didn't take good care of me. They are always traveling for business and conferences. Sometimes, they don't come home for a whole month. Since my injury isn't severe, they most likely won't come this time."

Seeing that he wasn't wearing the expression he had on when he lied, Saoirse believed him a little more. "So, aren't you going to tell Georgina?"

Julian suddenly became anxious as he rushed to clear up his relationship with Georgina. "She's not really that concerned about me. It's just that I used to like her a lot, and she enjoyed the attention I gave her, which is why we were close."

"I'll take good care of myself. I'll be waiting for you to come."
