Bryce furrowed his brows, staring intently at the cave entrance, then suddenly smirked. "Didn't I send my assistant to snoop around on Ludwik? Well, it's perfect. Ludwik and Whitney are here, and Parisa's gone missing. Let's leave the scene for them. When the cops show up, we can pin it all on them."
Florence pondered for a moment, then caught on to his devious plan.
Her eyes widened slightly as Bryce glanced at the dazed Parisa, a cold smile playing on his lips. "Just to be sure, give her another heart failure pill. If she falls into the canyon, even if the fall doesn't kill her, the drug will."
Florence looked at Parisa's pale face. A fall into the canyon would surely be fatal. But just in case, she steeled herself and forced another pill into Parisa's mouth. Together with Bryce, they dragged her deeper into the cave.
The cave branched into two paths, and after crawling through the depths, they reached another exit. Standing on the edge of a cliff, Florence looked down into the dark void below, her legs trembling slightly.
She hesitated, unwilling to push Parisa. At the last moment, she caught a glimpse of the cold hatred in the woman's eyes, a fiery glare that seemed to say, "I won't let you get away with this."
"Mr. Lutz, I think this is the canyon below. You do it!" Florence couldn't bring herself to push.
"Parisa, it's time for you to go. I'll take care of your vast fortune. Blame yourself for coming back to Harmony Country!" Bryce viciously shoved the bound Parisa off the edge.
Her terrified scream echoed through the canyon below.

"Ludwik!" Whitney stood at the entrance of the dense forest, suddenly seized by a wave of panic. Her chest tightened with a strong sense of unease. She clutched the sleeve of the man's shirt beside her. "I have a terrible feeling, Ludwik. Do you think something's happened to my mom?"
"Whitney," Hudson's voice came from behind, steady and cold as he leaned on his cane.
She turned to climb, but Hudson called after her and Ludwik, deep in thought. "You two take some men with you. I'll lead the Sheldon family bodyguards around the back. The canyon is down there..."
"Dad, the Grand Canyon is a no-man's-land! You want to go there..."
"Precisely because it's deserted, that's why I'm going." Hudson's handsome features darkened, his gaze icy and piercing. "If they intend harm on your mom, it's the perfect place to do it. I went down there once with an expedition in my youth. Maybe I can still find the way."
"Dad..." Whitney's heart sank, but she could only caution, "Please be careful. You're not as fit as you used to be."
"You two hurry!" Hudson waved the Sheldon family bodyguards to follow him as he took another path.
