Shane, though usually an outsider to all the chaos, couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. He quickly sent a text to Felix, knowing that once Felix got the message, he'd know exactly what to do—relay it to Ludwik, who was currently stuck in a cell.

Meanwhile, Shane stepped aside to call Parker, hoping to get some clarity on what was happening with Phineas. But the call went unanswered...

Parker, as it turned out, was at a hospital owned by the Inko Group.

Phineas's room was like Fort Knox, with layers of bodyguards ensuring even a fly couldn't make it past. Mrs. Wilson, accompanied by her son, stepped aside to give Parker space. "Go on in. Your uncle finally started talking last night. By the way, the President wanted to visit Phineas right after hearing about the incident, but you had me turn down the visit. Why was that?"

"Ma'am, I've got my reasons. Let me see my uncle first, and then we can talk," Parker replied with a courteous smile.

Mrs. Wilson, not fully understanding but relieved her husband was awake, opened the door.

As Parker entered, the steady hum of the ventilator filled the room. Phineas was propped up against the pillows, looking frail, but when he saw Parker, his eyes sparked with a flicker of strength.

"Parkie, you made it!" Phineas used his nickname for Parker, as he always had.

"Uncle, it seems your recovery's going well, and no memory loss?" Parker asked.

"No memory loss," Phineas said, his voice both stern and animated. "I remember every detail of the stabbing!"

Parker sighed. "Uncle, so much has happened while you were unconscious. Ms. Tennyson was lured back to Harmonia Country by Bryce. He had Florence impersonate her daughter, and together they plotted to kill Ms. Tennyson and seize her fortune."

"What? That's impossible!" Phineas was stunned.

Parker shook his head. "Oh, it's very possible. A fake paternity test was all it took. Too bad you never met Whitney; you'd have noticed how much she resembled Ms. Tennyson. No one here had seen Ms. Tennyson, which gave Bryce the perfect opportunity to deceive her. Now, it's likely she's gone, and Bryce has framed Ludwik for kidnapping her and for the attempt on your life. The President, unaware of the truth, is now cracking down hard on Ludwik."

Phineas fumed. "Wasn't Bryce already taken down by you and Ludwik? How did he manage such a grand conspiracy, even convincing the President? I need to speak with the President!"

"Uncle, please stay calm. Ludwik sent me here to fill you in. Bryce has all the contracts Parisa signed. Ms. Tennyson’s assets, her company, even shares of the Inko Group—they're all within Bryce's reach now! Ludwik is waiting for him to slip up."
