Parker sighed. "Uncle, so much has happened while you were unconscious. Ms. Tennyson was lured back to Harmonia Country by Bryce. He had Florence impersonate her daughter, and together they plotted to kill Ms. Tennyson and seize her fortune."

"What? That's impossible!" Phineas was stunned.

Parker shook his head. "Oh, it's very possible. A fake paternity test was all it took. Too bad you never met Whitney; you'd have noticed how much she resembled Ms. Tennyson. No one here had seen Ms. Tennyson, which gave Bryce the perfect opportunity to deceive her. Now, it's likely she's gone, and Bryce has framed Ludwik for kidnapping her and for the attempt on your life. The President, unaware of the truth, is now cracking down hard on Ludwik."

Phineas fumed. "Wasn't Bryce already taken down by you and Ludwik? How did he manage such a grand conspiracy, even convincing the President? I need to speak with the President!"

"Uncle, please stay calm. Ludwik sent me here to fill you in. Bryce has all the contracts Parisa signed. Ms. Tennyson’s assets, her company, even shares of the Inko Group—they're all within Bryce's reach now! Ludwik is waiting for him to slip up."
