Madge couldn't hold back any longer: “Don't listen to your dad. He's practically written 'I want to go' all over his face.”

Norris coughed lightly: “I never said I didn't want to go.”

Roseanne burst out laughing: “Alright! I'll book the train tickets right now.”

After hanging up, she immediately used the ticketing app to book two first-class tickets.

When Norris and Madge received the ticket details from their daughter, they were surprised to see the tickets were for the next day!

The couple immediately started packing.

“This kiddo really rushed the timing... Just a few hours by train and she's booked first-class, isn't that a waste of money?”

Norris muttered as he packed.

Madge, however, saw it differently, “Our daughter wants to see us soon. A few hours? That's not short. Economy seats are a pain in the back. She's just looking out for us, wanting us to have a comfortable ride. Our girl spent her own money to get us the best seats, and you're complaining? Don't be ungrateful.”

Norris clicked his tongue. “Look at you, I say one thing and you've got a whole sermon ready. And it's not that I'm complaining, I just thought we could save her some money…”

“Save on your own time, don't drag me into it. As the saying goes, ‘save at home, spend on the road.' It's fine to cut back on everyday stuff, but for a trip like this, skimping is the last thing on my mind.”

“If we're going out to have fun, it ought to be done in high spirits and comfort, right?”

“Yes, yes, the wife always knows best!” Norris saluted, his realization couldn't be higher.

While packing, Madge focused on daily necessities and essentials, not forgetting to pack a few beautiful dresses and change of clothes, of course.

Norris thought about all the vegetables he'd grown, all organic and fresh. How could he not bring some for his daughter?

“Mom, Dad, that's where I live,” Roseanne pointed ahead.

Initially, when Madge learned that Roseanne had rented a place near Kingswell University on her own, she was quite worried about safety, living conditions, and so on.

Roseanne knew their concerns, so she didn't hide anything, explaining the pros and cons of her place clearly.
