Love Coming from the Least Expected Chapter 17
Looking back now, I wanted to slap myself.
I was in no mood to listen to her anymore, but she kept on
taunting me. “Do you know what Lyle said to me about you?”
No, I don’t want to know.
But she continued, “He said that you’re an old hag. Although he
married you, you’re just an unpaid housekeeper to him.”

had a dreadful feeling that I was about to miscarry.
Tossing his bag aside, Lyle rushed toward me. He crouched next
to me and tried to help me into a sitting position. “Are you
alright, Yvonne? Are you hurt?”
He didn’t even know that I was pregnant, and all he cared about
was whether I hurt myself from the fall.
Before I could ask him to take me to the hospital, I was
interrupted by Bianca, who was fuming away.
She pointed a finger right at me and said connivingly, “Quit the
act. Wasn’t it only a fall? It can’t be that serious as to cause
