“Mind your own business!” Jon walked in, arms full of cacti, grinning from ear to ear. “Star, look what I brought for you!”

Astrid looked up, gave him a dismissive glance, and then continued playing her game.

Jon continued to ramble: “These cacti, you can put them on the windowsill and nightstand in your bedroom. They’re nice to look at, but they can also come in handy as self–defense tools!”

“Like say, if Elio suddenly barges into your house with ill intentions, you can fling these cacti at him!”
