Chapter 34 Asking for Money for Her Late Boyfriend The economic law exam was scheduled for Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. After Clarissa arrived at the examination room, she realized that she did not bring her ID with her. She could not remember where it was.

She was extremely reluctant to trouble Damien, but she would not be able to take the test without her ID.

Clarissa called Dainien.

“Hubby, can you please help me to look for my ID? I didn’t bring it with me.” Although Clarissa was anxious, she tried her best to keep a low voice when she talked to Damien.

“What about your brain?” Damien’s voice was calm.

“I didn’t bring it either… It’s very urgent. Please do me a favor!” Clarissa begged him.

He turned to Madelynn, who was sitting on the sola, and said, “Wait downstairs.”

“Clarissa went to take an exam and didn’t bring her ID.” After speaking, Damien went up the stairs.

“Oh, really? Then you should hurry and find it.” Madelynn Nashed a fake smile. Madelynn came to the Lawrence farnily’s villa today in the name of visiting Damien’s

grandfather, who happened to be taking a nap.

She initially wanted to chat with Damien since his grandfather was not around. Just as well, she had time for Damien.

As a result, Clarissa called Damien and asked him to help her. Thus, Damien went upstairs to look for Clarissa’s ID. Madelynn’s face was calm, but she was secretly disgruntled.

Danien looked around and could not find Clarissa’s ID, so he asked Mrs. Faber to help him.

He found a suitcase on the balcony that belonged to Clarissa,

Damien opened it. Figuring out the password on the lock was child’s play to him.

He did not see Clarissa’s ID but noticed a slightly worn-out notebook cover.

Damien had an intuition that the notebook was fishy because Clarissa hid it in such a place. Thus, he picked it up and looked at it.

A photo sell out of the notebook. Damien picked it up and saw that it was a photo of a very handsome man with a group of children. The man was very attractive.

“Sir, I found Madam’s ID! It was in the inner pocket of the canvas bag that she washed and put in the bathroom.” Mrs. Faber’s cheerful voice sounded behind Damien.
