“Don’t bully my dad!” A soft voice came from behind just as Ray shouted, interrupting his words.

Ray glanced at the direction the voice came from. Lo and behold, it was little Neil.

Neil stomped forward and shoved Ray with his little hands, glaring angrily at the latter.

“I-I’m not.” Ray was unsure as to how to react.

“Daddy, is he bullying you?” Neil turned to his father, his voice filled with love and concern. “Please! Nobody can bully your dad,” Ray muttered in dissatisfaction. He left the house right after.

“Is that true, Daddy?” Neil asked, confused.

“Yes. Nobody in this world can bully me,” Damien said

Neil nodded and said, “When I grow up, I want to be just like you, Daddy.”

“Then make sure to study hard.” Damien patted Neil’s head lovingly.

Back to the present, Damien took off to Florin with Ray in tow.

He didn’t take Neil with him, as it would be troublesome since it would be Neil’s first time

there.

Mrs. Faber was the most disappointed by this decision. Initially, she was planning to follow them to Florin so she could pass some things to her son who was studying there.
