Now they are leaving me alone with Gabriel.

"We better get gonna. Oh, I forgot my bag. I'll go get in, it might be in the class" I said and he stared at me before sighing.

"Your bag is on you," He said pointing at my back. "Look, I know it's weird being with my after what happened, but the driver has been waiting for a while now. Can we go?" He asked and I nodded.

So much for stalling.

We walked towards the car and I greeted, "Good afternoon Fred," I smiled, "Laura, good afternoon" he smiled.

"Good afternoon sir" Gabriel greeted and he nodded.

"This is my project partner, Gabriel. Gabriel meet Fred," I introduced and they shared pleasantries.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting Fred" I apologize but he just shrugged it off. "Do you think Mr Howard is gonna be mad about me bring Gabriel to the house?" I asked.

"He'll be fine with it, now hop in let's go," he smiled and I turned to Gabriel before I got into the car. Gabriel got in and closed the door behind him before Frank drove off.

The ride was smooth. Gabriel and Fred indulged in a conversation as we drove on.

It helped, because if the car was silent, it would gave been awkward for me and Gabriel but now it's can't be awkward cause there is no silence.

We finally arrived at the house. Frank drove in and parked the car. He quickly got down to open the door for us get down.

"What?" I asked Gabriel who was staring at me strangely and he shrugged, "You are treated like a princess," he said, once we stepped out of the car and I just giggled.

You'll meet the real princess very soon. I was quite surprised that I didn't see Katherine waiting for me. Oh, well! "Wow, the house looks like a castle," Gabriel smiled and I chuckled. That's what I thought.

"Finally, Laura you're back," I am guessing that's Katherine. Why is my mouth getting me in trouble today.

"Yeah I am," I smiled as she pulled me into a hug, not obvious of Gabriel who stood beside me.

"I'll have to tell dad to change the time your school closes, cause I need you. Anne is great but she busy and Sandra isn't that type of girl, but you are prefect. I am going out today and I need a beautiful dress to wear, please help me," she pouted and I giggled.

"I will but when I am done with school work " I stated and she nodded. It took some seconds before her eyes trailed to Gabriel and she asked, "Who are you?" she asked.

"Um, that's my project partner. I have a project today," I said and she groaned.

"Busy, busy. Why are all the good ones busy. Anne is drawing and you have a project, who is gonna help me," she whined and I rolled my eyes.

"Just wear a high waist black leggings, with a white flowy and lacey crop top, that is if you have those," I suggested and she paused for a while before shrieking.

"That's exactly what I need," she smiled, running inside in the process but stopped half way and ran back to me.

"Thanks," she hugged me and I smiled. Then she whispered, "By the way, he's cute," She smirked before running inside.

"That was odd," Gabriel said and I chuckled.

"Come on let's go," I sighed and dragged him into the house. "I can't just stop saying wow today," He grinned and I laughed.

That's how I felt.

"Laura, you are here already. As my play buddy yo-" He paused immediately he saw Gabriel. Guess who it was? Well, it's Luke.

"You must be Gabriel, I'm Luke," He said, stretching his hand for a handshake. It took all the willpower in Gabriel for him to accept calmly.

I know that he doesn't like Luke. And now Luke will find a way to tempt him cause that's how he is. A tease.
