Zion was still caught off guard when a woman in a dress approached us. Her long hair flowed down to her waist, and she carried herself with an air of confidence. Unfortunately, the briefcase she held seemed mismatched with her elegant appearance.

This woman clearly didn't like Zion, for her tone was curt as she spoke. "Zion, where's Ms. Norman? I need to see her."

Zion didn't respond. Instead, he stood on his tiptoes, trying to see if anyone else was with her. When he confirmed she was alone, his expression soured.

"I never mentioned to anyone in the company that Selena was in the hospital. How did you find out? Andy, who told you?"

"Andy?" I frowned. That name sounded familiar. I remembered hearing it from Selena before.

Noticing the butterfly ring on the woman's finger, I recalled that Selena had a capable assistant named Andy Zimmerman, who was very pretty and had many admirers. Unfortunately, she wasn't interested in men.

When Selena had mentioned her, I had briefly wondered if there was something more between them, as she often brought her up.

The tension between the two was palpable, and neither seemed particularly happy.

While I was still processing this, Andy's gaze shifted to me. She raised an eyebrow, clearly not recognizing me. "Who's he? I've never seen him before. Why is he here?"
