I felt a lot better after resting for the night. Emma came to the hospital early in the morning just to pick me up. She wanted to talk to me on the way to the company, but she chose not to say anything in the end. 

“Don’t worry, Emma. I’m fine.” 

I took Emma’s hand gently after reaching the company. She just squeezed my hand tightly in

“Eva, did they force you to quit by using the documents we signed against you? Damn it! We won’t let you become the scapegoat just to save our hides!” 

Everyone was clearly enraged. They had been working in this industry for so many years- they were no naïve fools. They could tell what Amelia’s true purpose was. 

There were many employees from the other departments gathering outside the design department’s office. Everyone just looked at me sympathetically.

Everyone in the design department began shouting at Amelia agitatedly.

“Everyone, stop this behavior this instant.” I moved to stand at the doorway. “All of you are brilliant designers. Don’t ruin your own future because of despicable women like Amelia.”
