“Til help” Ales offered when Ellie ignored him, quickly grabbing the bags 

“I’ve thought it over carefully. Alex, were not close enough for me to accept random gifts from you. Please take them back, Ellie said, glancing away. Ale stood at her door in a white bathrobe and slippers, holding several shopping bags. 

“Everything I said tonight. I didn’t mean it‘ 

When Ellie blocked the door. Alex began shoving the bags inside through the crack. She blocked the top, he shoved from below. She blocked the bottom he went for the top again 

“Don’t be mad” Alex cautiously moved closer, testing the waters by reaching for her hand.
