Loving In Silence novel Chapter 16

"Okay cool". He said not even looking at me. I followed his eyes and saw the new guy, he tried out for the team and got a place. He was the same height as Casey, blonde hair, green eyes, pink lips that he's always biting whenever I see him around. The way Dale was looking at the guy it's like he wanted to pierce a hole in him.

"Dude!whats up". I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Uh nothing". He looked at me with red cheeks before back at the guy then he looked down.

"Right". I said.

Dale still didn't answer my questions about if he was gay or straight, or bisexual, could he be bisexual?

I shrugged and walked away, saying hey to the coach so he could see that I'm here, about thirty minutes later I was walking down the pavement to get to my car. I had to pass the cheer leaders that were grouped up out front

"Malik". I hear Alice voice.

I sighed and stop turning back and forced the annoyed look off my face.

I slowly close the front door, locking it and made my way upstairs. When I open the bedroom door the place was silent so I assumed Casey was still asleep but the lights were off.

I turn around to see Casey standing in front of the bed, arms cross. I turn on the light.

"Uh hi baby". i said scratching the back of my head.

"Where you go?". Casey ask, his face blank of any emotions.

"A walk?". I said hoping he would believe.

"That's a lie, you lying to me?". He ask in shock because I never lie to Casey.

"Look I had to go to this party but I would have came back earlier if I -".

"You know you talking too fast". He sighed and glared at me going back into bed, turning away from me.

I strip down to my boxers and t shirt and went in beside him. I wrap my arms around his waist and kiss the back of his neck but he didn't respond. I sighed and close my eyes, I explain tomorrow.

The next morning I woke up alone. I must have slept in because I would normally wake up before Casey. I got out of bed and quickly took a shower, hurrying to go find Casey and apologize some more. He was in the kitchen cutting up a apple, my heart quicken when I saw him with the knife.

I took it from him gently and he let me, glaring while I cut the rest of the apple. I know I treat him like a baby but I try to protect him from anything and everything dangerous .

"I'm sorry". I mouth when he was looking at me.

"I search everywhere for you, I was scare, you were out!". He cried.

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again".

"No, it won't". was all he said before opening the door and walking out. I watch through the window as he made his way over his house.

The worst timing ever, my mom car pulled up in the drive way.

"Hey honey um... Casey said Sidney is bringing him to school. I don't know what's going on but fix it, the kid wouldn't even smile".

I sighed and nod. I got my car and drove out, Sidney's car was already gone.

Dale was standing by his locker, talking to the same guy from the party, if only I knew his name, the kid was a blushing freak!wonder what Dale is saying.
