Vicky did not know if all noble ladies who grew up under their parent's watchful eyes behaved this way. As she stared into the innocent look in Aurora's eyes, she said, "Did you not see the way Tyler was holding me just now?"

"That's because you fell," Aurora said. "You were injured and couldn't walk. Wouldn't it be normal for him to help you up?" She chuckled innocently. "Doesn't that show how much of a caring person he is?"

Vicky was rendered speechless and realized that hinting that something was wrong would not work.

Vicky took a deep breath and decided to be honest. "Miss Starling, there's something... I want to tell you."

As her final struggle, she said, "I'm not saying that because I don't want you to stay here, Miss Starling. Tyler and I... don't really get along."

Aurora did not buy it and chuckled. "I know you two don't get along. Why else would you get a divorce? If something really was going on between you two, you wouldn't dare keep it from me. It's settled, then. Leave taking care of Tyler to me. You can get on with your life and we won't cause you any trouble." She tapped Vicky on the shoulder and said, "I should go and check on Tyler. It's getting late, so you should get some sleep."
