Vicky tidied up and organized the guest room Aurora stayed in previously, but when she was done, she realized that Aurora was not in the living room.

She scowled and started looking everywhere for Aurora. However, Aurora was nowhere to be found even after Vicky had checked every room.

'Is she... upstairs?' Vicky thought, her heart sinking.

If Aurora went into Vicky's bedroom, Aurora would be able to tell that Tyler had been sleeping in the same room as her.

Vicky pushed the door to the master bedroom open, but there was no one in sight.

She sighed a breath of relief but felt confused at the same time about Aurora's whereabouts.

Noticing that the door to Tyler's study seemed to be slightly ajar, Vicky approached it, preparing to knock, when suddenly she heard voices arguing from inside.

In the study, Tyler studied Aurora with a dark look on his face and commanded, "You're leaving tomorrow."

"I'll say this one last time. Leave."

Aurora opened her mouth, wanting to argue, but could not find the words to refute. In the end, she muttered softly, "I just... I just thought that if Vicky knew the truth, she would feel better, and her attitude towards you... might improve a little..."

Tyler replied in a frigid tone, "Why should I care if she feels better?"

Tyler glanced at her and stated indifferently, "She never told me about her fake fiance, so why should I tell her anything?"
