Vicky nodded. "Yes, I understand, Miss Lina."

"I want to be the star of the wedding, so you have to make sure I'm prettier than the bride!"

Cece glanced at Lina when she said that.

Their client was asked to be a bridesmaid for a friend.

Lina came from one of the wealthiest families in Molivia, so Vicky and Jennifer would want to make sure she was happy with their service. The two of them asked Lina every question they could think of regarding her requirements and other matters that required the utmost attention.

It took two hours for Lina to list out all of her expectations. After that, she looked at her watch and said, "Gosh, how time flies! Thank you for your patience. How about we have dinner together?"

Vicky and Jennifer did not turn down her invitation.

The three of them went down to the hotel restaurant, and they began making small talk after giving their orders to the waiter.

"I know you two must be wondering why I insist on stealing the limelight from the bride," said Lina serenely. "Well, it's because the bride has an ulterior motive for asking me to be her bridesmaid. She knew I liked her husband too, so this is her way of bragging.

"When I heard she was getting married, I didn't even want to attend the ceremony. I planned to take the secret of my unrequited love to my grave, so imagine my surprise when she asked me to be her bridesmaid. I thought of this way to get my revenge since she obviously didn't care about hurting my feelings."

Vicky and Jennifer exchanged glances. They tacitly agreed they would not comment on their clients' love lives. Besides, it looked like Lina just wanted to vent because she started talking about making herself more beautiful for the wedding.
