Lowering his head, he met a pair of eyes brimming with hatred.

Tyler's thin lips curved slightly, and he leaned closer to her. "In the past, you've always known how to feign innocence and play the victim so I'd lower my guard and show mercy to you. What's happening now? Can't even be bothered to act anymore?"
