I sent my men to look into who was playing it, and because you appeared in the garden after your performance, the person I sent mistook you for the person who played the song," he said casually. "When I asked you out, you didn't deny it."

Gloria and Tyler did not explain much, but Vicky managed to piece together the puzzle and realized their story resembled that of common soap opera, and she was the femme fatale of the story who plotted to take the heroine's place.
