Vicky sighed a breath of relief. "Alright, tomorrow then. Are we coming in the morning or—"

Before she could finish, Tyler hung up on her.

She stared at her phone and thought, 'I guess I'll ask him about it when he comes home tonight.'

Though Tyler indeed returned home that night, he arrived so late during the night that Vicky was already asleep.

The next day, Tyler left before she woke up, and Vicky was left with no choice but to text him.
