Everyone gathered at the doorway of the kitchen where Isabella lay among the shattered fragments. Her feet, wrists, and cheeks were cut by the sharp pieces on the ground, and blood was splattered everywhere.

"Oh my goodness, Isabella... Isabella, what happened to you? " A middle-aged woman pushed through the crowd and ran over, her eyes welling with tears.

Soon after, a middle-aged man followed suit. "What's going on?"

The couple were Isabella's parents.
