'Even if that woman is made out of gold, she still won't be worth a million five hundred thousand dollars,' thought Vicky. However, she did not stop Tyler from doing so. In fact, she found the whole thing so ridiculous that she started to see the funny side of it.

After a while, the waiter walked over to Tyler's seat. In the dim light, the waiter took the bank card from Tyler's hand and walked away with a smile on his face. About ten minutes later, the waiter respectfully returned the card to Tyler, and the latter got up and left the room through a passage specially reserved for the club's VIP members to use.

'Is he going to check out what he bought?' Vicky wondered.

'The-woman-who-can-win-in-any-card-game' was the last of the auction lot, and for the rest of the night, the club put on various performances.

Vicky glanced at the direction of the VIP passage then got up and left quietly. Her membership card was of the highest VIP tier, so she was also allowed to use the passage.

However, after walking through the resplendent corridor and entering the lobby, she realized that there was no one there at all. She looked around, wanting to find Tyler, when she suddenly paused in front of a room.

The door to that room was slightly ajar, and Vicky heard a familiar voice coming from inside.

"Harvey." Tyler's tone became colder. "What right do you have to say all this to me? Is it because you used to be her ex-boyfriend or ex-fiance?"

"That's all in the past."

Tyler smiled faintly at him. "Your time is over. You can win against me at all and Gloria has already left Stoneford City, so tell me... What are you still doing here?"

Harvey's eyes darkened, and he remained silent.

"Vicky is my woman. Even if I don't want her anymore, you still have no right to be with her," said Tyler lightly.
