I'm fu***d up; Freya did not talk to me after that incident, no matter how much I tried. She had been with Camila all the time, and when I asked her to eat, she would say that she had already eaten. I never thought that I had this much patience, maybe because I knew that it was my fault. What else can I do to make her forgive me?

"Princess is still not talking to you," Calvin asked as he entered our office. This is where we usually stay whenever we have something to discuss or when we have nothing to do. We are not lazy; it's just that Dad wanted to do everything for himself so he could keep himself busy and not think about my mom. But the three of us were always ready whenever he needed us.

"Yeah," I replied, and I sighed deeply.

"How many days has it been already? It's almost a week, right?" I nodded after he asked and sat on his chair.

"You can't blame her, you know. You should have asked her first or considered how she was back in the Midnight Pack."

"Where is James?" Ia asked,

"Looking after the princess. You know him; she likes his future queen already. Maybe it was because he was your future gamma that he already felt their bond." he answered. "He had committed a rape, so I put it in his record," he replied before we heard a knock on the door and came in an omega.

"Your Highness, King Marco wanted to meet everyone," she said.

"As in everyone?"

"Yes, Your Highness, including the princess," she replied and left. What is it this time? Dad had tried to talk to Freya as well, but it didn't work well. I looked at Calvin, and that signaled him to stand up and follow me. I mind-linked James, informing him to tell my mate to come to the King's office.

"Since you already said that," Dad said, "Rapha, I am going to appoint you as her trainer. See to it that she will be able to learn more than the basics." He continued, "Freya, dear, I hope that you will understand my decision. I already talked to you and have explained some of the few things, right?"

"Yes, Your Highness," she replied, bowing.

"Then I am going to be with her during her training," James said.

"Of course," Dad replied. "Now that we are clear on this, is there anything that you want to discuss? Let me hear it now."

"Your Highness," Eunice said, raising her hand so Dad looked at her, "I wanted to train with the princess if you let me." She added I had a feeling that she only wanted to hurt my mate. That's why she was asking for that.

"If you want to," Dad said, and I wanted to object, but he continued, not giving me a chance to do so. "But you have to be responsible. Once the princess gets hurt in a very suspicious way, you will have to answer to me," he added, which made Eunice's and Ronaldo's eyes widen. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are one of the female Lycans who wanted to become Matteo's chosen mate, right?" I smirked at the thought that Dad had been sending them a warning already.

"Your Highness, even if my daughter wanted that, she knew better not to do anything stupid. Finding one's fated mate is very rare for us and takes us hundreds of years if we want to wait for them. So this is important to the palace and the whole kingdom." Ronaldo said this in defense of his daughter.

"It's good that you know that," Dad replied before he dismissed us. Freya left the office without looking at me, so I stopped James from following her. I caught up to her, and she screamed when I carried her like a bag of potatoes back to our bedroom. We needed to talk things out.
