Freya

How dare that b****, does she really think that I am not worthy of my mate? I am going to prove her wrong as well as her father. I had a feeling that those two were not to be trusted, they wanted me out of the palace and into Matteo's life. If that mate of mine didn't get his mind straight, I am sure that that bitch will actually succeed.

I didn't need to tell him how I felt, because if he really cared about me, he should have felt it. But I think I have to feel sorry for myself because I had a feeling that he was hesitating. He had doubts about me and I saw that when that old animal told us about his mate before me. "Princess, Councilman Rapha wanted to talk to you." Camila said,

I looked at her and got up from the chair I was sitting on near the window. It was a beautiful morning and I planned on walking around the palace a little later. Since someone wants to see me, I might as well start to do it now. "Where is he?" I asked. Rapha is the head of the defense, whom I understand was the one who would train me.

"In the training hall, he wanted you to change into your training clothes as well," she replied, and went to the walk-in closet. I wanted to stop her from doing that because I could do it myself. I tried to tell her that but she didn't let me and just did as she pleased. "Here, you can change in the bathroom." she said and handed me a pair of leggings and a sports bra. Yes, it was mine. And I'm thankful that my clothes were all decent enough and left those that are already torn and old even if they were my favorites.

My rubber shoes were already on the floor waiting for me when I got out of the bathroom. I wore them and followed Camila to where the training hall was. We went out of the palace and walked to a pathwalk leading to the side and saw that there were villas as well. I wonder who lives there. The villas in the Midnight Pack were for important guests only, like the prince. Is there anyone who was more important than the king and prince themselves that could stay there?

"We have to walk a little faster, the training hall was 15-20 minutes walk from the palace." Camila said when she looked back at me.

"Can you walk with me?" I asked her and she smiled,

"Sorry, Your Highness. Am I walking too fast?"

"No, I just had a feeling that you didn't want to walk with me." I replied,

"No, that's not it. It's just that we usually walk behind or ahead of the royals."

"Then walk with me from now on. I didn't want someone walking behind or ahead of me. How are we going to talk if you are away from me?"

"If that is what you want, princess," she replied and waited for me, so I smiled at her. We reached the hall and I was amazed at how big it was. I think it was an entire gymnasium. There were lockers that were lined up when we entered the training hall. There were a lot, so I think, many warriors used them every day. We walked-in and sets of gym equipment welcomed me. Benches where everyone could rest when they get tired were sitting in the middle and a few water dispensers. There was no one there, so I think they didn't want anyone to know that I was going to be there as well.

In the further part of the training hall was a boxing ring. I don't know about boxing because my mom and dad taught me freestyle fighting. It was like street fighting where I could do whatever I wanted. They told me that facing an enemy, you don't need to fight with any rules in mind. They told me to fight with the intent of killing because they were my enemies.

They were both fighters, so I believed them. I never saw them fight with anyone in the pack and most they fought with were rogues, so they did kill them. We were almost in the ring when Rapha greeted me. I looked behind him and found a door. It must be his office or something, "Good morning, Princess," he greeted. I greeted him back,

"I didn't know that my training was going to start today. Forgive me if you have to ask for me before I get here." I said,

"That is enough for the day." Rapha said, "Please cool down so you won't stress your body." he added, and did some cooling down exercises. Then he called me after. He was standing beside the boxing ring so I went to him.

"You looked and did good with the training. At some point, I thought that you were going to complain about these the whole time, but you are very patient," he said,

"My parents taught me that patience is a virtue." I replied, smiling, and he laughed.

"They are very right. I had a feeling that you had undergone training before this, but still, you did all the basic things I asked you to do today. That is a very good start, I guess you really want to learn."

"That's for sure."

"I assume that you will look forward to tomorrow. Am I right?"

"You bet," I replied. I went to the shower and got changed. Camila got me a change of clothes while I was doing the training, so I decided to shower there too while she waited for me patiently. I told her that we were going to go back to the palace as it was dinner time, so we walked back.

"Princess, the king asked you to eat with him again," Camila said. I nodded my head since I looked decent and I had a feeling that he was going to ask me about the training. Am I going to see that bitch again? I hope not.
