Chapter 115

After Ninian and Everett had lunch, she took an afternoon nap in his lounge for a while.

Everett was working at the side, while she lay on his single bed. When she smelled the familiar cold fragrance . in his blanket, she could not help but blush.

Everett seemed oblivious. He was seriously typing on his keyboard and calmly seated.

The light from the laptop screen shone on his face. He was cold and white like jade and indifferent like the ice on the mountain, hence people dared not stare at him.

As if he sensed Ninian‘s gaze, he looked over and raised his eyebrows. “What‘s wrong? You can‘t sleep?” he asked.

Ninian shook her head and secretly giggled. She noticed that whenever Everett looked at her, he would immediately become tender.

She could not help but giggle at this realization.

This time, Everett could not continue working. He put down his laptop, turned around, and looked at her with a teasing gaze. “Why? Do you want me to hug you and sleep together with you?”

Ninian was speechless.

She blushed even more and anxiously said, “No!”

As she spoke, she pulled the blanket over to cover her head. She was extremely shy.

Everett could not help but chuckle in a low voice. His eyes were filled with warmth, and he said, “Good girl, get some rest. You‘ll feel better in the afternoon.”

Ninian hid under the blanket and nodded. She curled up and finally started to fall asleep.

Everett soon finished his work and sent the email to the assistant in the Craig family.

He put his laptop away, walked to the bedside, and sat down.

At this point, Ninian was already sleeping soundly. Her hair poked out from under the blanket, revealing her bright and fair forehead as well as exquisite and petite nose.

Her eyes were closed, and her breathing was light. Her long, black, and curly eyelashes formed small shadows under her eyelids.

Everett subconsciously breathed lightly. He leaned forward and gently kissed her forehead , while his eyes were full of contentment.

Right then, his phone rang softly. He took out his phone only after he observed Ninian‘s expression and realized

“Ever–Everett!” Lana stammered. She nearly bit her own tongue. “I-I‘m looking for Ninian. They‘re about to film  her scene.”

Everett‘s face was not unpleasant. He even looked unexpectedly friendly. He nodded and said, “Got it. Wait for a moment.”

After he said that, he nodded politely and closed the door.

Lana looked completely shocked outside the door.

. “Oh, God! I swear that I‘ve never seen Everett being so

friendly aside from in the dramas!”

Who did not know that Everett was famous for being unfriendly?

If it were not for Ninian, she would not have dared to risk being given the cold shoulder by knocking on Everett‘s room door.

Who would have expected that Everett would be so welcoming? It was really surprising and shocking!

A good–tempered Everett was more handsome! Lana had stars in her eyes and smiled like an obsessed fan too.
