Chapter 1239

Ninian replayed the scene of Everett jumping off the building in her head like a looping nightmare.

Even right now, as she thought about it, she could feel her chest tighten again and her breathing became rapid.

She forcibly suppressed her emotions as she followed after her siblings. After they entered the exclusive elevator, they went straight to the floor where Everett’s ward was.

After all, it is a private hospital owned by the Craig

family. The ward where Everett stayed had a wonderful, natural environment.

It was like a huge suite, and even after a group of people walked in, it did not look crowded at all.

Harold was acquainted with Everett, but because he was still not on good terms with George and Alden, he did not dare to walk up front. He followed them from behind.

When George and Alden walked into the ward, they saw a young man standing in the middle of the ward.

Even though Everett was a young man, he looked level – headed and exceptional. His gaze looked calm and determined, making the people around him feel tranquil.

As expected, he was one of the most outstanding children of the Craig family. He stood in the middle of the ward, looking noble as he emitted a cold aura.

When Everett heard movement from the door, he turned

and the indifference in his eyes faded away. He turned and looked at them. He looked at the Winters siblings calmly and respectfully.

“Hello, everyone.” He greeted them politely.

The Winters siblings had initially looked at him with hostile gazes. But when they took in his calm and courteous gaze, they were a little dumbfounded.

‘It’s no wonder Ninian likes him. He’s attractive and has a good temperament.‘

Melody was the first person to relax and smiled at Everett.

He did not want to meet her under this circumstance. He could not even run up to her and hug her.

“Grapie?” Harold noticed Ninian not reacting. He hurriedly asked, “What’s wrong? Does your wound still hurt?”

As soon as he spoke, everyone in the room shifted their gazes to her.

Everett’s expression changed, “Wound?”

He did not care about anything else at that moment. He walked straight to Ninian, grabbed her hand nervously, and looked at her, “Are you injured? Where’s the wound? What happened?”

Ninian held his hand and shook her head with a smile, appeasing him.

George coughed loudly.

Alden’s temple pulsated. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Everett’s hand coldly. He gritted his teeth and said, “Sir, please behave yourself!”
