Chapter 226

Her heart subconsciously skipped a beat. She looked away before she pretended to be calm and said, “My company website was attacked and infected previously. I think there are still some remaining viruses that I haven‘t cleaned up. Let me get rid of them first.”

She calmly operated the computer.

However, for some reason, the computer, which would usually be under her control, refused to obey her instructions today.

The video on the screen was simply unbearable.

Even though Adina was a calm person, she could not stand looking at the screen. She just narrowed her eyes and pressed any key at this point. Who would have thought that the scene would suddenly enlarge? The voices also became louder, which made the room…

“Ms. Daugherty, you invited me to the study to watch this video?”. It sounded like Duke was teasing her. He leaned forward. Adina was shocked.

“What… What are you doing?” This man‘s desire had not been triggered by the erotic video, had it?

“Ms. Daugherty, your methods are not working, but you‘re not allowing me to help you? Do you want this video to replay again and again?” Adina‘s face continued to turn red. She immediately moved to the side and gave way to him. He pressed his articulated hands on the keyboards, and the screen turned black. Adina felt slightly embarrassed. He dealt with it so easily, while she took such a long time just now

Duke kept his hands away. He stared at the woman‘s red face, and for some reason, he found her expression slightly familiar. It was as if he had seen it somewhere. He pursed his lips and asked, “Ms. Daugherty, did we meet a few years back?”

“Why didn‘t you bring me and Eilam along if you wanted to talk about work? We invested in this project too, okay? We‘re having a cruise party over here. Bring Adina over and have some fun. We can also talk about work!” Duke nodded.

“I‘ll ask her.” After he said that, he hung up. He raised his eyebrows and noticed that Adina was testing her computer. The virtual simulation experience appeared on the screen again. He walked over and leisurely said, “Bring your laptop along. Let‘s go somewhere.” Adina frowned.

“Where are we going?”
