Adina lifted the skirt a bit, and the champagne rolled off the gown 

Not a single stain could be found on the dark green dress,

“There are so many people who are jealous of me, so i could only use brocade for my dress, That way, no wine could possibly stain it.” Adina smirked, “But you couldn‘t possibly be jealous of me. It was just a careless mistake, wasn‘t it?”

Sophia was furious.

‘What‘s this stupid dress?! Why won‘t alcohol seep through it?!

“If you want to cause a ruckus, you should just go back to the Gardner family, Sophia.”

Ethan was also in the dressing room, and he had seen the whole thing with his own eyes. Besides, anyone with brains could tell that Sophia had spilled her champagne intentionally

He simply could not understand why his sister would do something so stupid.

Unlike him, Sophia could not understand why her own brother would protect an outsider,

She wanted to throw a tantrum, but there were other people in the room, so she could only suppress her anger with all her might.

Adina turned to the mirror and put on lipstick, which made her even more beautiful,

Then, she moved to stand beside her cousin. “Let‘s go, Ethan.”

He nodded, and they went outside shoulder–to–shoulder.

The guests had already arrived, and since they had come to the Xavier mansion‘s banquet, they were dressed to the nines. It was very lively inside.

Everyone was trying to figure out why the Xavier family had decided to hold a banquet,

Suddenly, they heard a commotion at the entrance. They looked over and were shocked,

“My god, why are the people from the Winters family here as well?”

She was most likely one of the Xaviers.

Hence, when the Xaviers sent him an invitation, he set aside his work and came to the banquet.

However, the banquet had been going for a while, but he hadn‘t seen even a glimpse of her.

When Duke entered the banquet hall, he attracted countless people‘s attention.

All the socialites of Sea City fixed their eyes on him.

Many of them wanted to come over and talk to him, but he was simply too aloof and distant, so they missed their best chances as they hesitated about whether to make a move or not.

A light lit up at the stairwell leading to the second floor.

Everyone recognized Ethan Xavier, the eldest son of Richard Xavier, and instantly had an inkling as to why the Xavier family had decided to hold a banquet.
