The temperature in the ward instantly increased.

Adina raised her arms and lightly moved the man’s chest away. 

Duke held the back of her head and rested his forehead against hers. His voice was hoarse and low. “I still want to kiss you. What should I do?” 

Adina’s face turned red, and her heart pounded quickly again. 

She bit her swollen bottom lip. She felt shy and irritated as she said, “The ward door isn’t closed.” 

“I’ll go and close it now.” As Duke spoke, he tried to jump off the bed. 

Adina was speechless. 

Did he mean that? 

She quickly pressed him down. “You haven’t recovered. Don’t walk around. Just lie down.” 

When Duke raised his head, he saw her glowing eyes and slightly swollen red lips. Her every move gave off a seductive charm. 

Duke subconsciously gulped. 

If he were not injured and they were not in a hospital, he might have actually subdued this woman right there. 

Once they grew older, they would have to slowly start facing various hardships and dangers. 

Adina stayed overnight in the ward. 

When she woke up in the morning, Duke was still sleeping. 

She knew that there was a bruise at the back of his brain, so he needed to rest more. Therefore, she did not disturb him. She just washed her face and left the ward to buy breakfast. 

As soon as Adina walked out of the Inpatient Department, she saw a familiar figure standing at the end of the corridor. 

She was stunned for a second. “Flint, why are you here in the hospital?”
