Chapter 664
Mel was preparing to call her daddy and run to him, but his smile scared her instead.
‘I haven‘t seen Daddy in just a few days, so how did he become so scary?
She turned around and hid in Adina‘s arms.
With one hand in his pocket, Earl walked slowly toward Adina while his black leather shoes clicked against the cold marble floor.
Three of the children stopped him from approaching before he could even get close to her.
“Don‘t you dare bully Mommy!” Harold said with gritted teeth as he spread his arms wide.
George‘s lips tightened into a thin line, and he asked, “Was the news today true, Daddy?”
“At this point, it doesn‘t matter if it‘s true or not. Mommy has already suffered from it,” Alden said calmly. “There’s no use staying in a place where Mommy has been hurt.”
Earl traced the roof of his mouth with the tip of his tongue like a ruffian and laughed coldly before saying, “This is a problem between adults. What does it have to do with you three?”
He shoved Harold aside with one push, and then proceeded to grab George and Alden‘s collars.
“Stop!”
Flint approached them with a grim face once he had finished packing the suitcases into the car.
He stood in front of Adina and the four kids, and his eyes met with Earl‘s.
He once gave up on Adina and sincerely wished her the happiest of days, since he had trusted that this man would love her.
But only a month, only thirty days later, the man had already had an affair.
The woman he had loved for four years had her feelings trampled upon. She garnered sympathy and even faced humiliation from countless people in Sea City.
She got into the passenger seat and coldly said, “Drive.”
Flint floored the gas, and the car sped away.
Earl kicked the big potted plant at the mansion‘s entrance, and it shattered.
He took out his phone and coldly barked orders into it. “Find some guys and bring Catherine out of Sea City right now. She can go wherever she wants, as long as she stays away from me!”
Earl seemed to get even more frustrated after ending the call.
He came to the realization that ever since he met Adina, he always lost to her.
He first promised her to transfer the shares, and then he further pledged to kick Catherine out of Sea City.
She kept making more and more demands, but he always complied without realizing it.Catherine was right. He was going crazy.
