Chapter 821

Adina did not understand how she could lose her memory.

She had completely forgotten what happened in the past twenty minutes. She lowered her head and looked at the man who was handling the wound on her index finger. She felt guilty.“ I‘m sorry, Duke. I didn‘t forget on purpose.” Duke sighed in relief only after he carefully cleaned the bloody scab for her and put on the bandage.

He reached out to stroke her slightly messy hair and softly said, “Addy, you don‘t have to apologize to me. Should we go to the hospital for an examination later?”

It was very abnormal for someone to just lose her memory of a certain period.

If this had been the only time she had acted strangely, it would have been fine. But Addy had abruptly walked to the balcony and nearly jumped off at night not long ago.

Most importantly , Addy forgot about that incident too.

Adina nodded gently. “When I first gave birth to the four kids, my memory would suddenly appear faulty. People have said that pregnancy can lead to cognitive issues for some time. But even though my memory was bad at that time, it was never this bad. Have I also been hypnotized

by Catherine?”

Duke subconsciously chuckled. “Your condition doesn‘t resemble hypnotic amnesia. You don‘t have to think about it. We‘ll find out after we go to the hospital later.”

Adina wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed at his exquisite features with her calm gaze. “If I lose my memory and become a completely different person, will you still love me?”

Duke held her more tightly. “Don‘t say such foolish things. This won‘t happen.”

“I‘m just asking. If I really become a woman with an eccentric personality, not only will I have a bad personality, but I‘ll also look ugly. Will you still love me?” Adina insisted on asking him.

Duke answered her with his actions.

He kissed her deeply and affectionately, his kiss landing on the scars on her face.
