 Zhenny‘s expression instantly darkened. 

When that b*stard, Adina, mentioned Daniel‘s name, she knew that her father would agree. 

Indeed , Daniel was the most suitable candidate to him. 

“Dad is right,” Zhenny softly added. “Jasmine is still young and immature, so please don‘t mind her, Dad. Regarding the matter of the heir, we can confirm the details when Jones Corporation has a meeting later. What do you think?” 

Mr. Jones nodded. “We‘ll discuss the matter later.” 

Adina smiled faintly. She brought this up at the banquet because she was afraid that the Jones family would go back on their word. 

Now that many people were witnesses. Even if Mr. Jones changed his mind later on or Zhenny cheated, it would be impossible to change anything. 

She was determined to obtain the heir position. 

The farce ended hurriedly, and the banquet continued , but people in the banquet hall looked at Adina with more disdain and curiosity.

“Grandma, I never care about what people think.” Adina smiled and softly said, “Since I grew up, I have been discussed by all kinds of people. If I cared about these comments, I would have been drowned by their criticism.” 

Mdm. Xavier sighed. “Is it worth it to help a half brother?” 

Adina had also asked herself before if it was worth it. 

Dillon‘s gaze was complicated as he said, “Addy, you should‘ve told me about this in advance.” 

In that way, he would be able to arrange the matter related to the heir perfectly so that Addy would not become the target of public criticism. 

Adina smiled faintly and said, “Dad, Zhenny is controlling Jones Corporation. Even if you secretly handle it, those experienced shareholders can still vote me down when there is a shareholder meeting. It is only when being watched by so many people that I can properly enter Jones Corporation and run for the heir. Don‘t worry, Dad. I‘m not interested in the position of the heir. I just think that Daniel should not be suppressed by Jasmine.” 

“Addy, if have what it takes to become the heir, then the position should belong to you,” Dillon said earnestly.” Daniel has his own opportunities and life. You don‘t have to think about him.” 

Adina indifferently smiled and said, “We‘ll talk about it again. I might not be able to become the heir.” She had Daugherty Corporation and LaStar Technology Corporation under her name, and the children‘s companies required her management sometimes. She was so busy every day that she simply did not have the energy to manage Jones Corporation. 

She came to run for the heir merely because she had a personal grudge against Zhenny and Jasmine.
