Chapter 2326

Madeline did not hesitate and quickly answered the call.

Raegan's voice sounded softly with a hint of hoarseness, “Mrs. Whitman, sorry for disturbing you. I'm Ava's mother.”

“I know, Ms. Xander. Do you have something to tell me?” Madeline asked politely, knowing that Raegan was probably calling her because of Ava. Raegan sighed. “I saw you and Ava downstairs of the apartment just now. I didn't dare to disturb her again, so I didn’t go over. I just want to ask if Ava's mood is much more stable now?”

“Ava seems calm now. She just took a shower and said she’s a little tired, so she wants to rest.” Madeline told the truth.

“That's good.” Raegan seemed to be relieved. Then, she made a polite request. “Mrs. Whitman, if I may be so bold to ask for a favor, Ihope you can find some time to meet me tomorrow.” Madeline heard the helplessness and powerlessness in Raegan's words. To resolve the matter that had been gnawing on Ava’s mind and prevent her from suffering, Madeline readily agreed to meet with Raegan.

After hanging up the phone, Jeremy quickly moved to Madeline's side.

“Linnie, was that Ava’s mother? What happened? I heard that Ava seems to have reconciled with her biological mother, so why did they start quarreling again?”

Madeline could not help but sigh, “Ava's dad is back too.”

“Ava's dad?”

“Yeah.” Madeline nodded. “He’s a very authoritative neurologist.”

“One is the richest woman in a country, and the other is an expert. Ava's parents are really something else,” Jeremy praised.
