LUNA

I groaned when I heard a series of knocks. I slowly lifted Dylan's arm that was around my waist and stood up. I caressed my stomach as I walked towards the door.

"Camille?"

She smiled at me. "Get up dinner is ready."

"D-Dinner already?"

"Yes. It's already six o'clock. And Trey will also eat here." Her eyebrows went up and down before turning around and leaving.

I yawned and headed to my husband who still asleep. still wrapped itself in the blanket. I touched the cloth inside his dress and removed it knowing it was wet with sweat.

"Dylan." I shake his shoulder.

"Hm?"

"Wake up, we're going to eat." His forehead was no longer warm. "Your fever has gone down. You're about to get well."

He grabbed my hand that was on his neck. "Because you're here. Baby and you are here."

I smiled at his answer. He stood up, I would have helped but he stopped me and said he could.

We headed to the table where Camille was. I immediately heard trey's loud voice happily talking about his practice this morning.

I sneezed and we got their attention. I didn't see the shock on Dad's face. Instead, his eyes dropped to Dylan and I's clasped hands. Draw a little smile on his lips.

"What's that. Our flight is later and this idiot's face is the last I'll see." Kris's rude word.

I frowned at what he said. Dylan and I sat first, across from my cousins.

"Cut it out, Kris. My wife is sick so stop her."

"Wife. Tsk." He mocked.

"Where's Sky?" Sky and I are all, okay so there's nothing wrong with me looking for him, right?

"Leave first. Excited to go inside Almira's skirt." Trey said as he sliced the porkchop on his plate.

"Who's Almira?" Dylan asked as he looked at the rice I was putting on his plate.

Trey smiled. "A Californian girl that Sky is just crazy about."

Dylan shrugged his shoulders. "Good for him. I'm happy for him."

"Plastic." Said, Kristian.

"Orocan." Camille's tone was rude.

Trey 'tsked. "Your testicles are small."

I push down the serving spoon. "Hey, that's not just true! It's a lie!"

What?

What did I just say?

Fuck! The earth would have eaten me.

I blushed even more in embarrassment when they laughed out loud. I bowed.

Dylan's hand caressed my back. "It's okay, Baby. Don't cry."

"They're laughing," I said between my sobs.

"I'm not." I looked at him when he made the 'pfft' sound. His cheeks are also red due to restraint.

"You're just trying not to laugh."

"N-Not really."

"All of you," I said softly and walked out of the lanai.

"Veronica Luna, you're not done eating yet!" I didn’t stop walking even when I heard Dad scream.

I sat downstairs and mumbled there.

Why do I have to defend his testicles ?! Shit! After all, of all the things they insulted, my husband's testicles were the ones they chose!

"Let's go in, it's late. The wind is bad at night." I was no longer surprised to hear my husband’s voice.
