Chapter 125 Ungrateful

Half an hour later, Abigail arrived near the hospital with the panicked Yannis family.

Far away, she could see a young lady grabbing Caroline to prevent her from running away in her car.

"Let go of my hand. You hit him with a car, and it has nothing to do with me! Get your hand off me! I'll call the police!" Caroline screamed.

"Alright, just call them! If you hadn't pushed him just now, he wouldn't have fallen to the ground and got hit! I know I'm at fault, but you can't run away like this!"

In the face of the adamant girl, Caroline felt very agitated.

"He's a cripple, and it was all his fault for stumbling on the road since he couldn't even stand steadily! It has nothing to do with me!" she shouted.

Adela couldn't suppress her anger anymore. She strode to Caroline and harshly slapped her face.

Caroline staggered because of the hit, and a red, swollen mark appeared on her face.

Covering her face in shock, she glared at Adela.

Adela countered back with cold eyes as she questioned Caroline with rapid breath, "Caroline, Eddie wouldn't have been crippled if he hadn't saved you back then. How can you say something like that behind his back? What kind of monster are you?"

Caroline gritted her teeth in humiliation and refuted her, "He asked for it himself! I didn't ask him to save me. He's lame because he's a self-sentimental idiot, and you have no right to hit me!"

"How can you..." The anger almost choked Adela as she pointed at Caroline with a red face caused by the lack of oxygen.

She knew how selfish Caroline was and ascribed it to Patricia's negative influence on her daughter.

Now, Adela finally saw through her cold-blooded nature.

William hurried to pat his wife's back to get her some fresh air and also looked at Caroline in disbelief.

He couldn't believe that he had spoiled such an ungrateful person for twenty years.

She showed no gratitude to Eddie but insulted him like that.

William shook his head, and the last hint of love for Caroline also vanished.

Thinking of this, William wavered and wanted to compromise...

However, Abigail strode towards Caroline.

Her swift move startled Caroline as she thought Abigail was about to hit her. Then, she closed her eyes and screamed.

The next second, she felt that her hands were empty.

By the time she reacted to what happened, Abigail had snatched her cell phone.

Realizing what Abigail would do, Caroline tried to take her phone back. "What are you doing? Give my phone back!"

Abigail avoided her snatch, deleted all the videos in her mobile phone at an extremely fast speed, and also emptied the system trash can.

Then, she tossed the mobile phone to Caroline.

She immediately checked the videos, only to find an empty album. Furiously, she roared, "Bitch, how dare you delete the videos on my phone? I gonna kill you!"
