Damien rested his chin on his palm, clearly amused. "But that was two steaks... You ate all of that by yourself?"

Selina cleared her throat. "I was hungry, okay?! Is that a crime?!"

"It’s fine," Damien said with a smirk. "I just thought some mystery man might’ve helped you out. Glad to know that’s not the case."

She was sure Damien knew Logan had been there the moment he said "mystery man"!

He casually continued, "Mrs. Cole, go buy some more steak. We’re having it for breakfast. Since Selina loves it so much, she should eat more."

Mrs. Cole beamed. "Yes, sir. I’ll head out now!"

Selina wanted to protest, but if she said no, Damien would just find other ways to tease her. So she forced a smile. "Sure. I love it."
