“Don’t try to trap me with guilt,” Theresa countered. “Do I have a position in this family? Everything here is enjoyed by your mother and you. I’m no part of it, so bankruptcy or not, it’s not my concern.”

It was easy for Sarah to say. This girl hoped that Theresa would be the slave of her mother and her forever.
