Cristina was busy with work when her boss came over.

Her boss said, “Cristina.”

She raised her head. “Yes?”

“Someone needs your help. Go and pack your purse.”

“Who is it?”

“Just go.”

“So I don’t need to work now? I haven’t finished my work today.” As a white-collar, she was used to working long hours. So she was unwilling to leave her work and went to see someone. But at last, her boss pushed her out of the company. When she came out of the building, she saw a man from the Calsis.

Seeing her, the man said, “Hello, Ms. Lagarde.”

“Hello, why are you here?”

“Mr. Calsis asked me to pick you up.”

‘Charlie wants to see me?’ She was confused. Since the kids went back to the Calsis and Theresa looked after them, Charlie had asked her not to see the kids. She had never thought that he would arrange for a man to pick. her up. Not knowing what happened, Cristina got into the car. On the way to the Calsis, she sent a message to Theresa. Theresa replied. [Maybe he wants you to look after Leonard and Ben. I am home now. Don’t worry. Just help me take care of the kids. I will talk with you later.]

“Where are the kids?”

“In their bedroom.” Jonathan led her to Leonard and Ben’s bedroom. “They refuse to have their dinner. So Mr.

Calsis wants your help.”

Cristina sneered. “What? It seems that he doesn’t take good care of the kids. What a father.” When Theresa is

not around, Charlie is unable to look after the kids well. He can just ask me for help. How could he take away the kids from Theresa? He is not a good father.’

Jonathan didn’t argue with her. He just led her to the door of the bedroom and pushed it open. “Your mom is

here.”
