Chapter 403

Jonathan said, “Mr. Cameron’s birthday is on next week. If Mr. Calsis wants to hold a party for him, just let it be. Mr. Cameron is an old man. You didn’t get along well with him recently. Because of your divorce, he has never had a birthday party. You should make him happy. What’s more, Jimmy will be there.”

Jonathan’s words reminded Theresa of something.

Yeah!

Jimmy’s father and Theresa’s father were born on the same day.

She used to celebrate their birthdays every year when Jimmy was her husband.

Since Theresa divorced Jimmy and people thought that she had an affair, her father has never officially celebrated his birthday.

Jimmy’s father, on the contrary, celebrates it every year.

Theresa asked, “When is Jimmy’s father’s birthday?”

She didn’t remember it.

Jimmy said, “The same day.”

Hearing that, Theresa said, “Charlie did it on purpose, didn’t he?”

Jonathan said, “I don’t know.”

Theresa was speechless.

Jonathan said, “I should go to Mr. Calsis. It’s time for dinner.”

“I’ll go.” Theresa remembered that she had just made him angry. She didn’t want to coax him, but she changed her mind when she heard Jonathan’s words.

Theresa walked into the door and saw Charlie sitting there. When she came in, Charlie noticed it. He said without looking back, “I don’t want to have dinner tonight. I have no appetite.”

“Why?” Theresa asked.

Charlie suddenly turned around and looked at Theresa. “It’s you!”

Theresa was gone, wasn’t she?

“So, do you think it’s Jonathan?”

Charlie said, “Get out. I don’t want to see you.”

In her opinion, he was only an incapable and rich second generation.

If Charlie didn’t like Theresa, he wouldn’t care about her thoughts, because he didn’t care.

But he liked her. Her words hurt him so much.

Theresa said, “Don’t look at me like that. Get out of here. I don’t want to see you now. I won’t

have dinner tonight!”

“It’s me who makes you angry. You don’t have to punish yourself, right?” Theresa got closer, sat beside him, and stared at him. “Charlie, I thought you are so childish. Don’t spoil your health because of me. Dress up and go to dinner. Otherwise, Pat will scold me for bullying you.”

Pat had a partiality for Charlie.

He didn’t treat his daughter so well.

Charlie said with anger, “You are bullying me.”

Theresa curled her lips, “Of course not. Who dares to bully you? You are Mr. Calsis!”

Theresa stood up and took his coat. “Put your clothes on and go downstairs for dinner.”
