Theresa had intended to have a rest after returning to her home, but she didn’t feel sleepy anymore because of Jimmy’s visit. She turned on her computer and checked the recordings of Jimmy.

“So he came here because he learned about Jimmy’s visit?” wondered Theresa.

She responded, “Well, he has left. He just came to have a talk with me.”

“Had a talk with you?” Charlie walked in and stared at Theresa. “You know he is a jerk. Why did you still meet with him? Aren’t you afraid that he will do something to hurt you again?”

Charlie responded, “It’s Pat’s idea. Rose’s grandmother called Pat and asked him to help Jimmy go back.”

“Rose’s grandmother? Eugene’s mother?” Theresa looked at Charlie in surprise. She didn’t expect that it had something to do with Eugene’s mother.

Charlie nodded and said, “Yes. She is an elder anyway. Pat transferred Jimmy back for her sake.”

“Then why did Jimmy come to me today? He has found his own backer, hasn’t he?”

Charlie said, “He wants to leave the Cameron’s Group, but I didn’t let him go and asked him to stay in the company. Recently, I’m going to take over your father’s company and make him continue to be in charge there.”

Theresa’s mouth twitched. She looked at Charlie and thought that he was really scheming.

She said, “Are you really going to do this? Then all his previous effort will be in vain.”
