Damien fell silent briefly. "I'll need to handle a few things here, so I won't be able to return to Adania for the time being," Damien explained solemnly. "In the meantime, let Charles help out more with the company's affairs."

"Mm. He will," Maeve responded.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Damien ended the call. Setting down his phone, he stood still momentarily, gazing at the seaside. His eyes followed the police as they removed Raymond's body, a somber sight. He turned and made his way back towards the house.

"Honey." Damien turned to find Cherise standing at the villa's entrance, watching him. It appeared she had been standing there for a while, taking in the scene. Meeting her gaze, she smiled softly. "Do you truly believe Colin is your brother?" Her question indicated she had overheard his conversation on the phone.

Damien didn't see the need to hide anything from her. "It's just a hunch."

"Because of his striking resemblance to you?" Cherise inquired further.

"Not solely," Damien replied as he approached her, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Though doppelgängers are rare, they do exist. Take Mandy, for example. My sister once altered her appearance to mimic her own." Cherise nodded, understanding his explanation, but chose to remain silent.
