As Leilani extended her hand toward Yvette, she said, “It’s good that you know your place. But let me tell you, that pushing me into the pool issue isn’t over. But since you pulled me up, if you kneel, I’ll—” 

Before she could finish, a wave of dizziness hit her. She lost her balance and fell back into the pool, creating a massive splash. 

For a moment, Leilani struggled to stand in the water, trembling as a cold breeze swept over her. Her face was frozen in disbelief as she stared at Yvette, panic spreading through her eyes. 

Yvette’s eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze intense, with a sharp, captivating lift at the corners. She turned and sat down on a chair by the pool, crossing her legs. Her face remained expressionless, and the oppressive aura around her was chilling. 

Leilani was so shaken that she instinctively took two steps back, only to lose her footing again and fall into the pool. 

She flailed and screamed, initially threatening Yvette to save her. When Yvette remained indifferent, she broke down, begging and offering a huge check in exchange for her rescue. 

Weakened from being chased around by Alice earlier, Leilani quickly ran out of strength. After a few moments of struggling and shouting, she slowly sank deeper into the pool, until the surface gradually returned to calm. Yvette remained seated in the chair, her expression unchanged. 

Meanwhile, Cyrus and Dylan watched the entire scene on the surveillance feed in the mansion’s living room. When Yvette kicked Leilani into the pool, they winced. Watching a so–called socialite reduced to something resembling a drowned rat, was almost unbearable. 

The turning point came when Leilani insulted Alice, calling her a fool. Cyrus‘ face darkened instantly, and his expression turned cold. 

‘The Markos family has outdone themselves, sending such a brainless woman to marry Demetrius and letting her spout nonsense in his presidential palace, even insulting Alice. A marriage alliance? In their dreams. Alice isn’t someone a fool like Leilani can insult, he thought. 

Dylan watched Leilani’s wild behavior on the screen and thought ‘I must say, that when someone is determined to court disaster, no one can stop them. Insulting Alice in front of Yvette was practically a desperate attempt to hasten her descent into hell.’ 

He thought grimly, ‘If Mr. Becker is here, Leilani doesn’t just face her end today; she faces a far more tragic fate. But even in Ms. Zeller’s hands, her life hangs by a thread.‘ 

‘Ms. Zeller’s ruthlessness surpasses even Mr. Becker’s, and with Mr. Becker fiercely protecting Ms. Becker, Leilani is as good as finished. Her downfall will bring the entire Markos family down with her,‘ thought Dylan. 

He paused briefly, before thinking, ‘However, Leilani is still the eldest daughter of the Markos family. If she quietly perishes here at the presidential palace, handling the fallout will be difficult. 

Dylan saw in the video that Leilani had already sunk, and after a few moments of silence, he carefully spoke up, “Mr. Becker, if something happens to Leilani here, the public backlash will be a pain to deal with” 

Cyrus chuckled softly, his eyes fixed on Yvette’s emotionless face on the screen. “Did you see that? Yvette doesn’t know what restraint is since she dares murder someone openly in the presidential palace. Only Yvette would dare do such a thing. She has no humanity 

” 

Dylan remained silent. Although Yvette’s actions were indeed harsh, it was clear she acted for Alice’s sake. In the end, Leilani had brought this on herself with her reckless words. 

Cyrus nodded as his expression darkened. Rising to his feet, he spoke in a low voice, “Let’s go to the pool.

At the poolside, Amanda had already called over the security guards of the presidential palace. When she couldn’t find Leilani anywhere, panic set in,

Upon seeing Yvette lounging on a chair by the pool, leisurely sunbathing, she quickly ran to the edge of the pool and called out Leilani’s name, but no one responded. 

When she saw Leilani’s high heel floating in the water, she quickly ordered the guards to dive in and retrieve her. 

Yvette, however, remained seated, watching calmly, showing no intention of intervening. 

Amanda stared at Yvette as if she was a devil. 

‘How dare this woman so boldly push Ms. Markos into the pool at the presidential palace? This is practically murder! It is outrageous, Amanda thought. Terrified, she stood several feet away from Yvette. 

The two guards quickly yanked Leilani, whose breath was very shallow, from the deep end and laid her on the poolside. Her face was pale and her breathing was very weak, as if she were on the brink of death. 

Amanda was at a loss as she thought, ‘If Ms. Markos dies here, Mr. Markos will not forgive me. 

“Ms. Markos, Ms. Markos, please wake up!” Just as Amanda cried out, Cyrus, Dylan, and his personal doctor arrived. Amanda immediately ran to Cyrus and fell to her knees at his feet.
