Half an hour later, Chu Feng and Tang Sisi arrived at an orphanage called the Happy Home. Most of the children there had disabilities or were abandoned. They relied on donations to survive, and there were teachers to impart them with vocational skills so they could find jobs after they grew up.

Tang Sisi had been visiting the orphanage regularly for two years. She would provide medical and physiotherapy consultations for free and also help them with material needs.

The children were usually timid and introverted because of their disabilities. However, when they saw Tang Sisi, they would be extraordinarily happy because she had always treated them equally.

"You're finally here, Sisi! I miss you!"

"Where have you been, Sisi? I thought you'd forgotten about us…"

"What did you bring us this time, Sisi? I want chocolates!"

A large group of children surrounded Tang Sisi as soon as she stepped out of the car. They hopped and skipped around her excitedly.

"You shouldn't eat too many sweets!" Tang Sisi said while playfully pinching a little boy's nose. She said to the crowd of children, "Have you been behaving lately? Do you remember to study and exercise daily?"

"Yes, we've been good children." The children nodded and said in unison.

Chu Feng's heart warmed when he saw how close Tang Sisi was to the children. He did not expect Tang Sisi to have such a kind and gentle side to her cold personality.

To the children, she was an angel.

"Looks like you're very popular here," Chu Feng said with a smile.

Chu Feng laughed out loud, which caused the children to laugh as well.

Tang Sisi blushed and pinched the ear of the little boy who said she was pregnant. The boy cried for mercy, which made the other children laugh at him.

A few hours later, a bespectacled middle-aged woman in simple clothing brought over a fruit plate and two cups of hot tea in a tray. "Feng, Sisi, you must be tired. Come over here and take a break."

Her name was Zhang Jing, and she was the director of the Happy Home. With more than fifty children under her care, she looked haggard and old. Even though she was only forty years old, the sides of her hair had already turned white.

"Thank you, Madam Zhang. We're not tired," Tang Sisi said with a smile.
