Chapter 1470

Under the light, her cheeks were red from the alcohol. Her charming eyes reflected a shimmery light, and with her crafty appearance, she looked too beautiful to be true.

Carl was stunned for a moment, then he blinked and said with a smile, “I’ll shut up now. Go on, keep drinking.”

Sherry tilted her head and drank another cup, then picked up a piece of meat and shoved it into her mouth. The light reflected on her scarlet face, bright and beautiful.

Carl unknowingly went into a daze as he stared at her.

Meanwhile, they were separated from the outside by a glass window.

John carried Caprice out of the car and was about to enter when he saw this scene through the window. His footsteps froze, and his eyes narrowed behind his glasses.

When he saw her and Carl talking and laughing, his face instantly went cold.

“Daddy, it’s Mommy.” In his arms, Caprice suddenly pointed at Sherry behind the window.

John composed his expression and hummed.

In the next second, there was a knock on the window as Caprice’s small hand smacked the glass.

John froze.

Inside the restaurant, Sherry was drinking when she suddenly heard the sound of tapping on the window. She was startled and turned over to look.

Then, she suddenly saw a cute little face appear in front of her eyes.

The little girl smiled and showed off her small teeth, calling sweetly, “Mommy…”

Sherry’s eyes widened. “Caprice?”

Then, she immediately stood up and ran outside.

Carl was still bewildered.

Mommy?

“It’s still wine.”

Sherry held back her anger.

Forget it. She was content to be able to see and hold Caprice. She would not bicker with that man. She looked at Caprice and said with a smile, “Caprice, did you come here for dinner too?”

Caprice hummed.

“What do you like to eat? Mommy will eat with you today, okay?”

Caprice answered softly, “Okay.”

Sherry immediately carried her inside without looking at John. It was as if she was afraid that the girl would be taken away by him if she was too slow.

John watched her excitement as she held Caprice. The corners of his lips curled up, and he followed her in.

Meanwhile, Sherry had just carried Caprice inside when they ran into Carl.
