Chapter 1592

The tree leaves rustled as the car caught fire.

It was then that another white MPV passed by from the other side.

Caprice widened her eyes and pointed outside the window. “Mommy, the car is on fire!”

Sherry looked outside the window and spotted the burning car. The more she looked at it, the more familiar the car looked.

“Brandon! Stop the car! Stop the car!” she cried.

Brandon stopped the car by the roadside.

Sherry put Caprice aside and patted her head. “Caprice, be a good girl and stay here.”

Caprice nodded and hummed a reply.

Sherry then looked at Brandon. “Brandon, open the trunk, and call 911! Keep an eye out for Caprice as well!”

Brandon immediately suggested, “Sherry, the car is already burning! Why don’t you leave it to the authorities? It’s not safe! What if the car explodes?!”

“Stop talking nonsense and open the trunk!”

Sherry got out of the car immediately.

Brandon opened the trunk for her, and she took the fire extinguisher out. She ran to the burning car without further delay.

There was no other car on the road other than hers, and if she waited for the

authorities, the burning car might either explode or the people inside might already be dead.

She approached the car, turned on the fire extinguisher, and sprayed it forward.

Finally, the police arrived. They checked on Sherry and she told them what happened.

The ambulance arrived shortly after that. The paramedics brought the stretcher over and carried both Madam Stockton and the driver into the ambulance.

Sherry followed them into the ambulance in concern. Her brows were furrowed tightly as she found this all too coincidental and odd.

Madam Stockton should be resting at home after breakfast. Why would she be out here and get into a car crash?

Regardless, the reasons no longer mattered. What mattered the most was Madam Stockton’s well–being.

The ambulance arrived at the hospital shortly after.

The doctor who attended to Madam Stockton and the driver looked nervous. He

cried as soon as they were brought out of the ambulance, “Bring them to the ER right away!”
