Carl noticed Sherry acting strangely and asked, “Sherry, what are you looking at?”

Sherry took a deep breath and brushed it off, “Nothing.”

She must have been mistaken.

That man was miles away in Glanchester. There was no way he would show up here.

A man sat in the back seat and stared at the rearview mirror. It was John.

Sherry passed on drinking with Carl and had him send her back home instead.

is that Mrs. Sherry and Master Sager are getting engaged next month.”
